  • How do I order a skip?

    To order a skip call Huntingdon Skip Hire on 01480 775483. Our friendly team are on hand to support you delivering and collecting your required skip.

  • How much is it to hire a skip?

    Skip Hire prices range based on your location and postcode. For some guidance visit our prices which can be seen on our prices page.


  • Can I cancel my skip at any time?

    Yes. If you cancel your skip hire before the agreed agreement date you will be fully refunded. 

  • How long can I hire a skip for?

    Skip hire starts at seven days. Here at Huntingdon Skip Hire we can accommodate longer skip hire with a grand total of 4 weeks. If you have a bespoke request call our team on 01480 775483 

  • How do I get my skip collected?

    If you’ve hired the skip for a week we’ll pick it up on the arranged date seven days after delivery. You can always request the skip to be moved earlier by calling our team. 

  • What does our skip hire price include?

    Our skip hire prices cover the complete services. You can have peace of mind no extra costs will be incurred.  

  • What size skips do we have?

  • What can I put in my skip?

    At Huntingdon skip hire we offer skips which can handle the three generic types of waste.


    • General (generic home goods)
    • Inert (soil, sand, concrete)
    • Wood

    Please ONLY fill your skip to the fill line or else we won’t be able to collect it.

  • What can’t you put in your skip?
    • Asbestos
    • Plasterboard
    • Paint
    • Tyres
    • Gas cylinders
    • Large appliances (fridges/freezers)
    • Electrics such as televisions/computer monitors
    • Oil
    • Batteries and other chemicals
  • How high can I fill my skip?

    You must fill your skip to the fill line. Any waste which exceeds the fill line will have to be left with you, or a larger skip will be needed. Please ensure you follow the guidelines to reduce issues with collection. 

  • Where can I put my skip once it has been delivered?

    You can put your skip on your driveway or around the back of your property. If you need the skip on the road or a grass verge you must get a permit licence from your local council

  • What happens to my waste once it has been collected?

    At Huntingdon Skip Hire we are committed to recycling 90% of your waste through responsible processes. 

  • Are you licensed to carry my waste?

    At Huntingdon skip hire we are fully licensed to carry your waste.
